So first I shared the article in "Gaming" Groups in Facebook,
And then I promoted it more deeply by directly sharing on "Game Development" Groups in Facebook.
Note:
+You should not spam the groups anyhow.
+And as the groups will be totally related to the article,members wont be offended.
+Also,reply to the comments on the shares to get max engagement
+This way you will get a instant boost in views and you may get some of visitors to bookmark your site for future visits (if your content was worthy enough)
2)Make the leaders bring up the newbies
This strategy includes mentioning your new article on a already ranking one.Suppose you have written a tech article on SEO and you already have a SEO-related article ranking from your blog,then you can mention the new article in the article which is already ranking.

3)Do some interactive promotion
You can attract more visitors from Social Media if you way of promotion is interesting.Try innovative ways to make people visit your blog (No Spamming)

It is too obvious that the 2nd status update was more attracting.This was just an example,but you can try more methods.Just know that you have to follow the trendy ways,like creating memes,putting hashtags etc

2)Try new methods and check which ones are working better and the focus more on them
